Especially when ULT mode is activated, it delivers a full and detailed sound with sufficient volume reserves, which is really fun. However, the features are somewhat meagre and high-resolution Bluetooth codecs are unfortunately conspicuous by their absence...

With the Ult Field 1, Sony has succeeded in creating a relatively inexpensive Bluetooth speaker with an impressive sound in its price range. It distorts significantly less at high volumes than comparable competitors and strikes a confident balance between bass and clear details, even if it sounds artificial at times...

The small size of the speaker is a little deceptive, because the Sony ULT Field 1 has a surprisingly loud and good sound.
