The first generation of the ZV-1 is still available on sale from photo retailers or second-hand. After the ZV-1 Il, Sony introduces further compact vlogging cameras, some of which work with full-frame sensors.

The Sony ZV-1 is a specialist for video recording - here the video blogger camera scores with great image and sound quality, long recording time and many additional functions such as portrait video or optional log recording format.
- The ZV-1 convinces with very good features and image and video quality for vloggers. The compact dimensions make it very easy to always have it with you.
- For photography, a viewfinder like on many Sony RX compacts would be helpful. The equipment would gain considerably with an included handle or table tripod.
The Sony ZV-1 is a compact camera that serves an unusual task focus. However, it does this brilliantly, as there are only minor shortcomings to mention. Compared to the other RX compact models, the rotating and swivelling monitor, which was installed for the first time, is very practical - not only for vloggers...
Good, small high-quality compact camera with manual functions, small zoom and network function. Especially good in the eye test. Good all round, very good monitor to flip (270 degrees) and swivel (180 degrees), fast camera, light and relatively flat for a high quality camera, many extras and functions.
