Streamer X

The built-in audio interface provides inputs for a microphone (XLR) or line source (6.35 mm TS), a headset (3.5 mm TRRS) or a RØDE wireless transmitter (Wireless GO II or Wireless ME). Thanks to the built-in DSP, the microphone signal can be further enhanced with a high-pass filter, de-esser, noise gate, compressor, EQ and Aphex exciter, as well as arranged in the stereo panorama (Pan L/R). The free RØDE Central configuration software allows the desired DSP settings to be made. Once made, the selected settings are retained in the Streamer X. On the back of the unit is a 6.35 mm TRS jack for connecting stereo headphones.

On the hardware side, the Streamer X has two large switching pots, two MUTE pads and four programmable SMART pads with bank change buttons. The left-hand potentiometer determines the preamplification (gain control) and the desired audio source (push button). The right-hand potentiometer determines the headphone volume (control) and can be used to mute the headphones (push-button). The two MUTE pads on the left allow general on/off switching of the audio source (left) or the video source (right). The SMART pads are used to trigger sounds, voice FX and other commands, the two bank change buttons below them allow access to four other commands.
