802.11ac Wave 2 technology
The original 802.11ac Wave 1 SU-MIMO (Single-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) technology allowed access points of past generations to communicate with only one client at a time. The new 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO technology (multi-user, multiple input, multiple output) now makes it possible to communicate with multiple clients simultaneously, which has a very positive effect on the user experience.
