Product details
It features two low-dispersion elements that effectively reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing for a clear, precise representation of your subject. It also allows you to focus at infinity, making
it ideal for portraits with attractive background blur.
The telephoto lens has a much longer focal length than a normal lens. This reduces the angle of view and makes objects appear closer and larger than they actually are from the position you are in with your camera. This type of lens is therefore particularly suitable if you want to photograph distant objects in full format. In addition, subjects photographed with a telephoto lens can be very well exposed due to the shallow depth of field - emphasize the desired subject of your picture by letting the background sink into the blur.
This lens can only be focused manually. Even though manual focusing takes longer and is more demanding than working with the autofocus, it does offer some advantages: It allows you to focus on exactly the point you want, so you can take shots that are exactly what you want. Even in situations where the autofocus would quickly become overstrained - for example, in low light, smooth surfaces with little texture, or in foggy weather - you prefer to focus manually.
