Compared to SSDs, the "WD My Passport" offers a lot of capacity for little money. It is also fast enough for streaming and backups in the background. The only downside is that, despite the suggestion in the name, there is no USB-C port. Instead, buyers will have to resort to an adapter.

In the 500 GB SSD category, the Asus ROG Strix Arion S (for 145 euros) came out on top. Not quite as fast, but also not as expensive and thus the price-performance winner is the Intenso Portable SSD Professional (80 euros).
