The woven nylon jacket makes the cable more robust without adding too much bulk. At the same time, the cable does not easily tangle due to the special jacket and can be unwound very easily. Therefore, this type of cable is also ideally suited for applications outside of server racks, such as in laptop bags or for flying patch cable connections that are frequently changed.
