Cat6 cables are designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz. They are used for signal transmission with high data transfer rates (1 Gbps). Due to the high signal frequencies, particular care must be taken during installation and assembly, especially at the connection points of the cores. The individual pairs of wires in Cat6 are twisted differently tightly, which reduces the susceptibility to interference even more than in Cat5e. Cat 6 cables are used for voice and data transmission, as well as multimedia and ATM networks. Even more powerful are Cat6e (500 MHz) and Cat6a (625 MHz) cables
Slimpatch cables offer a major advantage when wiring racks and 48-port switches. Due to the extremely thin processing and the great flexibility you avoid a confusion of the cables and keep the overview.
A Wirewin Cat6 slimpatch cable has a flexible and wide pawl protection as well as a length print on both ends. So you finally have a little order in your distribution cabinets. They are the optimal solution to connect IP phones to your network. Due to their short grommet and their flexibility, these cables are ideally suited for this application. Despite the extremely thin design, a Power over Ethernet supply of the IP telephones via these cables is also possible. In addition, the cables are no longer flat as usual - they now have a round shape.
AWG36
The AWG (American Wire Gauge) system is based on the manufacturing process of wires and expresses the conductor thickness of the copper wire. AWG36 = 0.0127 mm² conductor cross-section.
