Zalman's ZM-VE350 is a black external hard drive enclosure for 2.5-inch hard drives. It is predominantly made of aluminium, which not only gives it a good feel and appearance, but also helps to ensure
good heat dissipation from HDDs to the environment. The features of the VE350 include ISO mounting, a simple menu and a one-touch backup function.
The case has a USB interface for communication with the computer. Thanks to the latest USB 3.0 standard, transfer speeds of up to 5 GB/s are possible, i. e. 10 times faster than under USB 2.0. A suitable cable from USB 3.0 micro-B to USB is included in the delivery. Two small screws for attaching the SATA data carriers and a screwdriver for fast installation.
A storage bag is also included in the package, which ensures that the ZM-VE350 will not get dusty or scratched during prolonged storage. These are easily possible thanks to the low weight of only 96 g and with a height of only 13.5 x 7.8 x 1.3 cm, the handy case fits into many jacket and trouser pockets.
