The Zoom F2 audio recorder can be connected to a PC or Mac via the USB-C port and the F2 Editor (software download) can be used to adjust settings, format SD cards and much more. Data is also transferred to the computer via USB. The recorder's internal clock avoids any problems with video synchronisation. Gain adjustment is not necessary with the F2 recorder and recordings can be made in 44.1kHz/32 bit float and 48kHz/32 bit float. If required, the integrated high-pass filter can be switched on. The supplied lavalier microphone can be connected via the 3.5mm Mic/Line-In connection with 2.5V. Headphones can be connected for monitoring via the 3.5mm phone/line-out socket with its own volume control.
