This capsule contains two matched unidirectional microphones for miking sources placed directly in front of the recorder. The microphone capsules are easily interchangeable, so you can always use the right microphone for your application. The H8 offers four XLR inputs with dedicated pad switches and gain controls. Two additional XLR/TRS combo jacks with Hi-Z switches allow you to selectively record line signals, microphones, or directly connect electric guitars and basses. Use the built-in 3.5mm headphone output for monitoring or feed the audio signal directly into your camera via the separate stereo line output.
