Are any of you using the built-in docking station? The network connection and the image via USB-C to a Lenovo T480 or T490 works fine. However, I am having trouble getting the USB ports to work. It doesn't recognise my mouse and keyboard and the headset receiver.

Hello together

Do any of you who use the docking station of the monitor know if the network port can be shared simultaneously for two connected Windows PC / laptop? I have connected my laptop via USB-C and my PC via display port and USB-A downstream port of the monitor. The webcam (including Windows Hello) works with the PC.

If anyone has any experience, that would be very helpful. So far, the configuration has been quite awkward, but this is not entirely due to the monitor (e.g. resolution is a driver problem, webcam is due to Windows Update, etc.). When it works, it is reliable :)

Hello RedWolf24

I use the KVM switch. But I had to try out and test it a bit until everything worked. I have the following config:

- Wireless mouse and keyboard connected to the monitor. So, only the dongles
- External speakers connected to the monitor
- Network cable connected to the monitor
=> Laptop 1: HDMI1 for image; USB UpLink for mouse and keyboard
=> Laptop 2: HDMI2 for picture, USB A to USB C cable used.
---- Monitor Menu: User Button: KVM, so I can easily switch between Laptop 1 (USB UpLink) and Laptop 2 (USB-C).
---- Monitor Menu: USB Settings USB = USB 3.0 / Standby mode set to ON

With Laptop 2, I actually wanted to connect USB-C to USB-C conveniently. I only managed to do this 1x at the very beginning without wanting to use the KVM yet. When I test this now, I no longer get a picture. Network, mouse, keyboard and sound would be OK, but there is no picture.

And another problem, which I could not solve until today. The laptop 1 display via HDMI produces the full maximum resolution.

Laptop 2, on the other hand, only 3840x2160, whereas I had to select 3840x1080, otherwise everything would be completely distorted.

In the first test with the USB-C to USB-C (without KVM), however, I got the full resolution. I don't understand this myself and don't know where to look.

Don't know if my explanations are helpful and solve your problem. Let me know ...

And maybe you have an idea why the USB-C doesn't work for me and/or the resolution doesn't do what it's supposed to do.

Greetings and good luck
