Hey To be honest, I don't really understand all the drone regulations. What exactly applies to the DJI Mini 3 Pro? Register or not? Training or not? Insurance or not? Is it allowed to fly everywhere except at airports or not even within a 5km radius? I have looked on the Bazel site but somehow it is quite confusing. Can someone help me and just tell me what exactly counts now?

You don't have to register, but it makes sense, training always makes sense anyway, insurance definitely makes sense (private liability). You may fly with it everywhere where it is not forbidden.
Nature reserves, airports, crowds, cities (the city of Bern, for example, is a complete NoFly Zone for "just fly over it"), where someone's rights are violated, where there are dangers (power stations, refineries, crowds etc.) - therefore not.
Do your research, it's worth it - in my opinion, it doesn't matter if the drone "only" weighs 249g or more.
Googling often helps: www.drohnenverband.ch/de/infos/drohnenregulierung

From 01.01.2023, the EU drone law will apply in Switzerland, which means that some things will change. Therefore, all Switzerland-oriented sites have information from both laws, which can quickly become quite confusing. If you don't want to get into trouble with the law: Liability: Many liability insurances have drones insured as standard, just check the maximum weight that is insured. Training: The online A1/A3 certificate is all you will need for the mini 3. Registration: As soon as your drone is equipped with a sensor that can record sensitive data from people (camera, microphone, etc.), it must be registered on the FOCA's UASGate.
