De'Longhi PAC EL112 CST

I have just received alternative instructions from the manufacturer on how to connect the remote control. Thanks to Digitec support! .......PAC EL112- PAIRING PROCEDURE 1- Standby Mode 2- Make sure that the LED of the CST RCU flashes red immediately after inserting the batteries followed by a white line 3- Press and hold the Mode button on the remote control for about 10 seconds until a dot appears on the display. appears on the display, then you can remove your finger 4- Press the arrow button on the air conditioner until a dot appears on the display, then withdraw your finger. then withdraw your finger. 5- Please note that a rapid white light should flash at the end on the remote control which means that the pairing is working! Note: You have to hold the arrow button for a really long time until a small square starts to light up! and only then did I press the mode button for 10 seconds! If you have any questions, please write here.
The unit can only cool, ventilate and dehumidify. This is less true for mobile air conditioners, as it is a closed circuit, similar to a refrigerator.
The accessories supplied are exactly as shown in the pictures.
I bought this item from the Galaxus catalogue and it works well: VidaXL Air exhaust hose 6 m Ø15 cm
What do you mean by defrost mode? If it says LE on the display, according to manual page 36: "The appliance is equipped with a frost protection device to prevent excessive ice formation. Once the defrosting process is complete, the appliance restarts automatically." Either the environment is too cold (which I can't quite believe), or too damp that excessive ice is forming, or the temperature sensor is faulty.
Hello, if the appliance is integrated into the home network (Wi-Fi), the appliance can be started remotely via the DeLonghi app. It didn't always work for us, but for the most part it worked quite well. Greetings
Problem solved - the manual does not have good instructions.
This probably means that the De Longhi has an exclusive system in which you do not have to remove the condensation water. It is probably added back to the air.
No, this only works with an exhaust hose to the outside (through an open window) to direct the warm air outside. Otherwise the warm air would remain inside and would heat up the air inside.
I can't recommend the device to run overnight. It is still too loud for that, even in silent mode. In silent mode, only the ventilation level is at the lowest level, while the compressor runs at the same level. However, the cooling performance is quite good.
Just check the Swiss version of the Delonghi website for official service points in your area ;-) https://www.delonghi.com/de-ch/kundenservice/servicestellen And then just give them a call. :-)
A refrigerator is warm on the outside at the back because it extracts heat from the inside. The unit here is nothing different, only the room air is blown through the cold part, which cools down. The warm air at the back has to go out to the room so that it is cooler in the room overall, yes. That's what the exhaust hose is for. More warm air should go out, so it can come back in through an open window. So make a hole in the window or the wall for the hose, or seal everything nicely... ;-)
Yes, the insert is included, it has a round adapter with rectangular constriction (15cm on constriction of 10.4 x 20.5cm), a round adapter with cover to install with screws (diameter with rim 18cm) and a two-piece rail with round adapter. The rail is adjustable from 73cm to a maximum length of 98cm and is 16cm wide (width is the width of the adapter ring).
