Product details
Coffee specialties from the SMEG 50's Retro espresso machine become something truly special. The 1950s design is beautifully showcased with this machine. With three filter baskets, you can choose whether you prefer a single espresso or a double. Of course, coffee can also be made using popular coffee pads. The descaling indicator keeps you informed about when it's time to descale your espresso machine, which is essential for an untainted coffee experience. If the machine is not used for a certain period, it automatically shuts off. Coffee pads have been on the market for over 10 years and have many satisfied fans. They consist of two layers of cellulose, with a portion of about 7 grams of coffee grounds sandwiched in between. The coffee pads made from filter paper are usually fully compostable, with the exception of the rarer versions that have a plastic chamber. To use coffee pads, you need a coffee pad machine designed for that purpose. The powerful milk frothing nozzle provides steam for particularly easy preparation of wonderfully airy milk foam, allowing you to create the perfect cappuccino, latte macchiato, or one of many other coffee specialties.
