Product details

The Aku Superalp GTX is a hiking shoe that remains comfortable even on long tours or when carrying heavy luggage. The Italian shoe specialist AKU has developed the IMS3 Exoskeleton sole for this purpose. The lower part consists of an outer skeleton made of polyurethane, which is raised at the back to envelop and protect the heel. This provides optimal support and stability while walking. The asymmetrical structure, with a wider inner section and a polyurethane elevation, offers support to the midfoot and prevents overloading and pronation. The upper part of the midsole features a lightweight polyurethane inner section that provides cushioning and high pressure resistance. The Vibram sole ensures perfect grip. The upper material of the Superalp GTX is also impressive: the suede leather, combined with the integrated Gore-Tex membrane, offers breathability and weather protection. A rubber rand protects against debris and impacts. The Aku Superalp GTX is ideal for long-distance hikers, multi-day trips, trekking, pilgrimages, and anyone traveling with a tent, gear, and provisions.

Heimlicher Redaktionsliebling!
