The powerful and versatile Spot 400 headlamp from Black Diamond is continuously being refined in terms of performance and beam quality. The lamp features a flat, grippy plastic body and flat buttons for cycling through the lighting modes. A light press, even with gloves on, activates the various lighting modes of the headlamp, which is equipped with a total of 3 LEDs. The TriplePower LED provides excellent long-range visibility, illuminating distances of up to 100 meters with 400 lumens. For close-range illumination, there are two SinglePower LEDs. Both LEDs (for near and far light) can be activated simultaneously, ensuring optimal lighting for both areas. In addition to these two powerhouses, there is a red SinglePower LED, which, like its two white counterparts, can be dimmed continuously. A flashing light mode is also available. The headlamp is powered by 3 AAA batteries (included) or the rechargeable lithium-ion battery BD 1500 (not included). During evening runs away from city lights, runners will appreciate the lightweight design, which is hardly noticeable on the head. When reading in or in front of the tent, the lamp can be dimmed completely, much to the delight of tent mates who may want to sleep.
