The ticking made of natural silk from Cocoon is an ideal sleeping bag for travelling or as a light cover for the sleeping bag, which can be used either as dirt protection or as a warmth upgrade. Silk is a natural product with excellent temperature regulation properties. It creates a warming effect when it is cold and cools the skin when the environment is warm. In this function, the Cocoon silk ticking in the sheepskin bag is not only a dirt protector with a feel-good effect for comfortable rest, but it can also increase the thermal performance of the sleeping bag by up to 5.3 °C. In midsummer or tropical holiday destinations, the ticking is often sufficient without an additional blanket or sleeping bag. The rectangular ticking has a side opening with a Velcro fastener, which can be slipped in and out again. The hood of the mummy version can be adjusted with a drawstring.
