The TX4 Evo Mid GTX Men by La Sportiva is a waterproof leather shoe from the Approach Traverse X series, designed for use on alpine approaches and sporty via ferratas. The robust TX4 features a soft leather outer shell, which, along with the spacious yet snug-fitting forefoot area, provides a comfortable fit that balances the characteristics of a well-fitting climbing shoe and a comfortable hiking shoe.
The Gore-Tex Extended Comfort lining ensures dry feet, even in wet conditions. The upper offers additional stability in rugged terrain while maintaining a flexible zone in the ankle area, allowing for freedom of movement when scrambling, despite the mid-height design. The Vibram MegaGrip sole provides excellent grip on the mountain, and the integrated Impact Brake System at the back enhances control during descents.
Additionally, this La Sportiva model includes a Climbing Zone in the toe area, increasing versatility for navigating smaller climbing passages and challenging terrain. To ensure durability on rocky paths, the upper leather features an all-round scree protection edge. The midsole incorporates a Resole Platform, making it easy to resole without sacrificing comfort.
