The latest tire in the long line of XC tires that have already won a World Cup race. This fast semi-slick tire has a similar profile to the all-round XC tire Rekon, but with smaller and lower knobs. Use it as a rear tire paired with a more heavily treaded tire like the Rekon or Ikon on the front. Or use it front and rear for ShortTrack races and light, fast racing courses.

Exo Protection: This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tires. It is tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains impressively good.

Dualcompound: Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned according to the tire characteristics.

Tubeless Ready: Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with lower air pressure, which provides better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures is also lower. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bead of our TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a true UST tubeless tire.
