Tacx Flux 2 Smart T2980
Tacx Flux 2 Smart T2980
I have already bought the roller trainer for autumn/winter and since it was on sale in another shop for 629.- I have already bought it!
Among other things, I chose this device because it also supports the Micro Spline freewheel.
Unfortunately, I had to buy this separately (which I already knew). But I think it's quite expensive at around 120.
Of course it would be cool if Garmin/Tacx would offer different versions, for example with the help of a configurator, but logistically it would probably not make much sense. I also understand why no cassette is included, because there are simply too many different variants.
In any case, I bought an additional Deore 12x cassette for 75 euros so that I wouldn't have to change it. The assembly went without a hitch. But I hadn't mounted the bike yet. I'm not expecting any problems with the gears.
But this way the amount adds up considerably.
In any case, I would wait until the device is available at a discount. 799.- or 899.- as on the Garmin website would be far too much for me.

Easy to set up, quiet - perfect for me
Now and then connection problems otherwise very satisfied
I've had it for one month and am very happy with my purchase. I bought it to pair with the Zwift app and so far it has done a fa tastice job. I purchased this smart trainer without really doing too much research online until after I had already bought it. There is some negative feedback online about tacx smart trainers in general but so far I haven't experienced any of the issues described in these reviews. I would go as far as to say this product has exceeded my expectations!!!
