The 3M Peltor X4 earmuffs are color-coded in bright green, making it easy to select the appropriate protection levels from the X series. Our earmuffs combine 3M's widely recognized expertise in hearing protection products with advanced technology and feature a specially designed spacer as well as new cushion technology that enhances noise attenuation without excessive bulk and weight. This means that the X4 is lightweight and even more streamlined than other high-damping earmuffs while reducing noise by up to 33 dB.

The electrically insulated design with a double headband reduces heat buildup on the head, and the plastic-coated stainless steel wire makes the headband the most robust that 3M has to offer. It is both strong and comfortable, as the flat, wide headband has a soft plastic coating that exerts stable pressure on the head. No exposed metal means that the product is dielectric and provides electrical resistance for applications with spark or charge hazards.
