Product details
Easy Salt makes it child's play to keep bath water clean and clear without the use of chemical water care products. Easy Salt is a salt clorinator that converts salt into natural chlorine (sodium hypochlorite)
through electrolysis. Natural chlorine does not irritate the skin or eyes and does not smell or taste. But it is still a very effective disinfectant that keeps the water free of bacteria and algae.
How the Easy Salt salt generator works
The Easy Salt generator system consists of a control unit that is mounted on your pool and a converter that is installed after the filter tank in the circulation system. At the beginning of the season, pool salt is added directly to the pool water. By electrolysis, the salt in the pool water is now converted to chlorine when electricity runs through the converter.
The system is a disinfecting cycle where the same salt is used over and over again. You don't have to keep adding more. This is because evaporation converts the chlorine back to salt and the process starts all over again. It is only necessary to add more salt when new water is supplied, e.g. in the form of rain.
Easy Salt installation and use
Easy Salt is used for free-standing and inground pools and is very space-saving. Control unit can be installed e.g. with cable ties (included) directly on the filter tank. As with all other disinfection processes, Easy Salt must be continuously adjusted to the number of bathers and the weather. This is done quickly and easily by operating the intuitive control panel.
Maintenance
If the salt content in the water becomes too low, for example if a lot of rainwater has entered the pool, an alarm signals that it is time to add more.
The salt-producing cell in the converter will lose power over time and needs to be replaced approximately every 1 to 3 years depending on use. The cell, which has the item number 1811, can be ordered from your specialist dealer.
You must use undried salt that contains at least 99.8 % sodium chloride. Calculate 4 kg of salt per 1000 litres of pool water. 25 kg pool salt item no. 1795.
We recommend using a natural flocculant, e.g. Swim & Fun SeaKlear (item 1736) in combination with Easy Salt.
