This function is available for batteries smaller (motor sled and ATV) and normal size (off-road and car). Another unique feature is that the reconditioning function (restoring deeply discharged batteries with acid layer formation) is available for both small and normal sized batteries. The Ctek Polar is equipped with extremely cold-resistant rubber cables (AC and DC to the battery) on both sides. With the sophisticated, eight-stage charging system, the charger analyzes whether the battery can pick up and hold a charge. It operates fully automatically and switches over to trickle charging after the battery has been fully charged - an enormous advantage in cold weather. Ctek Polar also performs well in mild climates, but is designed for charging between -30 °C and +50 °C.
