With the DUC 406, Makita offers a powerful 2x 18 V battery chainsaw. Of course, the DUC 406 has an anti-kickback function and an electric brake to protect the user when the saw kicks back.
In addition, the torque boost function allows the torque to be limited for a short moment in order to cut particularly thick branches. The metal tooth spur is ideal for positioning the saw on the wood and preventing it from slipping. The saw also has a low battery warning light and switches off automatically to protect the batteries from deep discharge and overheating. The brushless motor allows for a more compact design and ensures a longer life due to less wear and tear.
