Product details
The brand magnetic paint from plid is made in Germany. The magnetic paint from plid is versatile, whether in the office, kitchen or children's room, the design possibilities are almost limitless.
The magnetic paint comes in a modern anthracite grey shade, but can also be painted over with any commercially available emulsion paint. Another major advantage of this magnetic paint is that it adheres to many surfaces such as doors, furniture, concrete, wood, metal and hard plastic surfaces.
Substrate pre-treatment:
Not suitable in areas with permanent exposure to moisture! The substrate must be sound, clean and dry. Observe VOB, Part C, DIN 18363, the relevant BFS data sheets and the latest version of the technical data sheet! Before applying the coating, test the suitability of the material/substrate by applying a test coat. If in doubt, request specialist advice! In the case of heavily soiled substrates, pre-clean the substrate with a suitable cleaner and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Dust binding cloths must not be used! Alternatively, we recommend degreasing and dusting the substrate with a mixture of methylated spirits and clear water (1:1) using a lint-free cloth before applying the material!
Application:
The material is ready to use. Do not mix with other materials.
Application method:
Brush or roller applicationApply at an air and substrate temperature of at least +7 °C (ideal range 10 - 25 °C). Stir well before use and apply evenly with a brush or paint roller. If still desired, add max. 5 % water.
Drying (at 20 °C and 65 % relative humidity):
Dust-dry after approx. 1 hour. Can be painted over after approx. 6 - 8 hours.
-Completely dry after approx. 24 hours. Avoid mechanical stress on the surfaces and spray water during this time.
Lower temperatures and higher humidity extend the drying time.
Cleaning the tools:
Clean tools with water immediately after use.
