Power ratings (according to ISO 8528 1:2005)
COP – Continuous power rating: The continuous power rating is the power that a generator set can deliver with an unlimited number of operating hours per year between the required maintenance intervals under the specified environmental conditions. Maintenance must be carried out according to the manufacturer's specifications.
LTP - Limited-time power rating: The limited-time power rating is the maximum power that a generator set can deliver within 500 hours per year, taking into account maintenance intervals and given environmental conditions, with the generator being able to operate continuously for 300 hours. Maintenance must be performed according to the manufacturer's specifications for the reciprocating internal combustion engine. It must be noted that operation under these power conditions affects the lifespan of the generator set.
