Easy to use:
1. Use the search rod to probe the ground. As soon as a tunnel is present, the rod will drop suddenly. Place the trap in a location that is as level and straight as possible.
2. Use the hole punch to create a clean hole with a diameter of 6 cm and 1-2 cm deeper than the tunnel floor. Carefully remove any soil that has fallen into the tunnel or press it flat in the hole.
3. Slide the trap into the hole and gently pull the tensioning lever upwards so that the trap openings align with the direction and height of the tunnel. Cover the trap tightly with grass or leaves at the surface to prevent light or air from entering the hole. The trap is now ready for use. Check the trap no later than one day after setting it. However, it often takes only a few hours for a catch to occur.
