Product details
Time-saving: Fast voltage testing through non-contact measurement Efficiency: Thanks to the inernationally adapted measuring tip, the current tester can be used for all sockets worldwide EASY TO WORK WITH:
The integrated LED torch ensures optimum lighting conditions and simplifies the work of the electrician in difficult situations Flexibility: The current tester covers a wide voltage range from 12- 1.000 V AC Application: For detecting and locating live conductors, cable interruptions and breaks, blown fuses, defective lamps on fairy lights and single strand detection. Before starting an electrical installation, electricians must ensure that the working environment is free of voltage. A voltage tester is needed to test alternating electric fields or to locate suspected sources of faults. An initial indication of whether there is no voltage is possible with the Wiha non-contact voltage tester thanks to its visual and acoustic signal. After switching on, the permanently green LED indicates that the tester is ready for use. During the voltage test, the LEDs light up from blue (weak) to orange to red (strong) depending on the strength of the alternating electrical field. Two AAA batteries are required for use, which are included in the scope of delivery. If the device is not used for 4 minutes, it automatically switches off to save energy. An integrated LED torch allows the measuring point to be illuminated in dark surroundings and can be used as a torch by switching it on and off manually. Thanks to its handy size, the voltage tester with clip fits comfortably in any shirt or trouser pocket. Thanks to the internationally adapted measuring tip, the voltage tester is suitable for all socket variants worldwide. The single-pole voltage tester is subject to the EN 61010-1 / IEC 61326 standard and is designed for CAT IV 1,000 VAC.
