Cleaning and maintenance:
Annual maintenance is limited to checking the filter media and the UVC lamp. The UVC lamp should be replaced after 6000-8000 operating hours. The best time to change it is at the beginning of the pond season in spring. The pressurised pond filter has a modern cleaning system that can be controlled via a switch with 2 functions.

EasyClean backwash functions:
- "Filter" switch position = normal operation - the water is fed through the pressurised pond filter with the aid of a pond pump and returned to the pond after cleaning.
- Switch position "Clean" = cleaning mode - By flipping the selector switch, the motor integrated in the filter head is switched on, which sets the filter sponges inside the pond filter in rotation and removes coarse dirt without you having to open the pond filter. In cleaning mode, the dirty water is discharged via an additional connection and can be used for watering the garden, for example.
