It all started in 1993 in a small garage in the heart of Lyon, France. An old cupboard was gathering dust until its owner had the idea to refurbish it by covering it with coloured paper.
The idea was born. Décopatch is a very simple concept: a brush, glue varnish, a piece of paper - that's all! Supports made of brown papier-mâché, ideal for your own home decoration or as a beautiful, personal gift. There are 3 ways to customise the papier-mâché: 1. cover it with Décopatch's white acrylic paint Gesso (not included) and then paint it. 2. design it with Décopatch paper and the adhesive varnish PaperPatch from Décopatch (not included). This is very easy: Tear off or cut small pieces of paper (approx. 2x2 cm) and coat the papier-mâché with the adhesive paint. With the help of a brush, glue on a piece of paper and apply another layer of adhesive paint. 3. coat it with Décopatch's PaperPatch adhesive varnish (not included) and apply glitter, such as Av enue Mandarine's GlitS (not included). There are no limits to your imagination. The papier-mâché is handmade, each product is unique.
