In the movable jaw of the Mosasaurus from Schleich Dinosaurs are many sharp teeth. To hunt down prey such as fish and turtles, the dinosaur opened it wide and bit down hard.
Because of the shape of its teeth, it probably could not chew, but only swallow. As an adaptation to its habitat, its front and hind legs were re-shaped into flippers. It also had a large fin at the end of its tail.
