The Vertex model is a pair of sunglasses with a distinctive plastic frame. When using electronic devices such as computers, smartphones or tablets on a daily basis, the blue light emitted by the displays can damage the retina. To minimize this risk, Gunnar Optiks offers Vertex sunglasses with outdoor-type lenses that filter up to 90 percent of the harmful blue light from the displays. In addition, the lenses have an anti-reflective coating and UV filters.
