Robust and practical infrared thermometer with pistol grip for non-contact measurement of temperatures between -50 °C and 1200 °C Versatile use - whether at home, during leisure time or at work. At the
touch of a button, you can measure the surface temperatures of rotating parts, live conductors, hard-to-reach or dangerously hot objects without touching them and without risk. A very wide range of applications is possible due to the wide measuring range and the high resolution. At home, insulation problems caused by temperature differences on exterior walls, doors and windows can be detected. But also in hobbies and at work, the possible uses of your infrared thermometer are seemingly limitless (e.g. checking the temperature of electrical installations, testing heaters, monitoring food safety, etc.). In addition, IR thermometers are excellent for testing multiple measuring points from one vantage point, saving time and money. Adjustable emissivity Thanks to the adjustable emissivity, the Voltcraft IR 1201-50D USB IR thermometer is suitable for measuring the temperature of a wide variety of surfaces, whether dark masonry or shiny metal parts. Data logger function via the USB interface Via the USB interface of the IR thermometer, you can quickly turn it into a data logger. All measurements can be saved with a time/date stamp and transferred to the PC. Many additional functions integrated The min/max memory informs you about the measured limit values afterwards. Setting a measuring range alarm is also no problem. If the limit values are exceeded or not reached, the thermometer gives an alarm with red flashing background lighting. Due to the short response time, spot measurements can be carried out quickly and the measured values can then be fixed in the LCD display with the data hold function.
