Test report about Electric BBQs from Haus & Garten Test

Even today, electric grills still have an "uncool" image; they are derided as toys or as frying pans on legs. Many opinions and prejudices date back to the early phase of the electric grill evolution, when many representatives of this species were rather plastic-melting toasters, dripping with dirt after just one steak and, to top it all off, terribly weak. Times have changed and with them safety precautions, ease of use and performance. Today, electric grills are more advanced and short circuits and electric shocks are a thing of the past.
