Test Report

Bookshelf speakers in the test: Good stereo speakers from 140 euros

Combined with a network-compatible amplifier, wired speakers are also good for streaming music. We tested 20 bookshelf speakers, from shoebox size to the size of a small suitcase. They are the best-selling wired speakers. All the speakers perform well, but the price differences are large (139 to 675 euros a pair). And the speakers also differ in terms of timbre: sometimes they sound warmer, sometimes cooler. Sometimes they emphasise the mids, sometimes the basses.
