Test Report

8 active coolers in a comparison test

Whether you're planning a barbecue session with friends and family, a trip to the great outdoors or a dash to the next music festival, you'll always want to take a food item or two with you. And what is the best way to protect this food from the high summer temperatures outside the house? With a cool box! After all, what could be better under a blue sky, bright sunshine and a mild wind than enjoying an ice-cold sparkling drink? Modern coolers are not too heavy, do not take up much space thanks to their rather compact dimensions and can therefore be easily stowed in any car. To coincide with the start of this year's summer season, we have now tested 8 active (thermoelectric) and 4 passive coolers. You can read how effectively the individual models really cool in this test report!
