Test Report

17 Binoculars 08/2019

Binoculars are supposed to bring us closer to nature: when birdwatching after work or whale watching on holiday. All the more tragic is the picture presented by the most frequently sold binoculars in the test: 16 out of 17 binoculars in the test are considerably contaminated with harmful substances - among others, the testers of Stiftung Warentest found carcinogenic substances. Only one expensive pair of binoculars is good, all the others are poor (prices: around 18 to 500 euros).
