COMPARISON TEST - 5 multi-cookers
As much as we sometimes wish we could: Besides work, family and household, many of us no longer have enough time to devote to a nice "cooking session" in the evening hours in the kitchen at home. However, if it is important to you to eat a balanced diet and cook regularly with fresh ingredients, you can bring a modern multi-cooker into your home. By combining all kinds of different functions in a compact housing, these compact machines offer maximum scope while cooking. On top of that, they can also save us a considerable amount of work and time - even when we're out of the house, thanks to delayed start-up. We have now tested 5 current multi-cookers with market prices ranging from €83.95 to €249.00. Two of them also allow cooking under increased pressure of up to 70 or 80 kPa: This shortens the cooking time of beans, (chickpeas), lentils and co. immensely. Most multi-cookers, if they can't already be connected smartly with an app, are easy to use, so they really don't require any culinary expertise. All essential cooking parameters can be individually adjusted, depending on the cooking method: Just as recommended for the particular dish. In the test, you can read what the individual multi-cookers have to offer and how the quality of the food prepared with them really is.
