COMPARISON TEST - 14 thermo mugs
Whether it's an exquisitely mild Gyokuro, a lovely sweet Italian cappuccino made with milk or pure plant-based milk alternatives, or a completely different delicacy: Especially at the current time of year, characterised by increasingly harsh temperatures and omnipresent wind, many of us prefer warmth-giving drinks. In the morning, minutes before jumping to work, college or elsewhere, in the absence of time, one usually has no choice but to enjoy the drink on the go - with a so-called "to-go" cup. However, since such plastic "to-go" cups pollute the environment to a considerable extent and will be banned as early as the middle of next year, alternatives are needed: this is where modern thermo cups made of solid stainless steel come into the picture. We tested 14 different models currently available on the market: stainless steel thermo mugs with a market price range of only 10,88 € to 35,90 €. Of course, in our test report we not only reveal which of the models insulates most effectively, but also how the individual thermo mugs can be handled in practice, i.e. whether they can also be used sensibly in the car, on buses and trains, etc.
