17 hoses from 8.50 to 32.90 euros in a practical and test bench test
Oldie but Goldie! The current stocktaking from the test bench and in practice shows: The classic inner tube is far from being obsolete for everyday use, touring and cycling. It is available everywhere and offers a simple tuning potential that should not be underestimated. And at a sensational price. But not all inner tubes are the same: if you are looking for a good all-rounder without serious weaknesses, a butyl inner tube is still a good choice! If, on the other hand, you want to get the maximum rolling resistance out of your tube, you should go for a latex tube - sometimes with significant drawbacks in terms of puncture resistance, air retention and sensitivity. The fairly new TPU tubes perform slightly better than butyl tubes and are THE alternative to the classic butyl tube in the city and trekking sector. The only drawback is the usually high price. And tubeless systems? They play out their advantages in puncture resistance with their self-healing properties as well as in good riding performance. For many everyday riders, however, they are still too uninteresting due to numerous specifications for tyres, rims, sealing milk, too small a tyre selection in the city and trekking segment, the more difficult assembly and maintenance effort, and the very high price.
