Test Report

Lenses from other manufacturers

Of all the lenses in the half-dozen, the two fastest show the best overall performance. Especially the Viltrox AF 1.2/75 mm XF Pro is convincing in a lens class where extreme speed is often at the expense of image quality, but also the Samyang AF 1.8/75 mm X. The Sigma and Tamron zooms improve on the X sensor, but lose out in terms of efficiency compared to the E sensor. Good alternatives are Samyang's 12 mm and the TTArtisan 27 mm.
