The Hero4 Black is the best action cam for perfectionists. The Silver model hardly delivers worse quality, but is much easier to use. If you don't like the GoPro shape, go for the slim Sony. The Rollei convinces with great features at a fair price. The Shimano's shape and size are appealing, but the quality is only moderate.
