Beautiful tanning - Toaster

Toasting each slice evenly to a golden brown ? in the test, very few toasters succeed in this. The toast comes out of some appliances sometimes pale, sometimes dark. Some slices are still slimy at the edges, while they are already well toasted in the middle. Of 17 toasters in the test, only 5 were good (prices: 15 to 126 euros). Some toast unevenly or do not push the finished slices up far enough. A mid-priced brand-name appliance came out clearly ahead. The surfaces or handles of two toasters get far too hot.
