True values - blood pressure monitors

Millions of people in Germany regularly check their blood pressure themselves. For this to be of any use, the devices must deliver reliable values. But only three of the 15 blood pressure monitors tested are good ? including two inexpensive ones for the wrist (prices: 18 to 103 euros). Three devices were only adequate, including the most expensive one in the test. test tells us which blood pressure monitors are good and what to look out for when choosing and using them.
