Pimp my Ride

17:20: The following gameplay video shows just how much you can pimp your ride in "Need for Speed: Payback". The possibilities are enormous. Even Xzibit would be jealous.

The most absurd press conference ever

17:00: Indie game publisher Devolver Digital also organised a press conference. However, what the Twitch viewers were offered there was not comparable to the events organised by Microsoft and co. There were no new games to see, but an absolutely weird but extremely entertaining show that you won't soon forget.

Xbox Design Lab comes to Europe

16:40: In the USA, players have been able to design their own Xbox One controllers for some time now. Now you Europeans can get creative - new design options included. Initially in France, Great Britain and Germany. Other countries are set to follow in the summer.

"Cuphead"

15:40: Already shown at ten E3s, there was a new short trailer for "Cuphead". The platform game consists of tough boss battles and stands out with its 1930s cartoon style. It will finally be released for PC and Xbox One on 29 September.

"Super Lucky's Tale"

2:30 pm: The platform game will hop onto Xbox One and PC from 7 November without VR glasses. It still looks like a polished Nintendo 64 game, and I mean that as a compliment.

"Shadow of War"

14:15: At the Microsoft press conference, there was also new footage of the "Lord of the Rings" action game. In it, Talion, the hero of the game, takes over a fortress with Orc allies and holds tea parties with Orc chieftains. Released on 10 October for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Costly mods for "Fallout 4" and "Skyrim"

14:10: Bethesda tries a second time with paid expansions after the first unfortunate attempt. The two titles will be supplied with new content under the name Bethesda Creation Club. The special feature of these mods is the increased quality standard. Previous free expansions will remain available. The platform is set to launch in summer. Prices are not yet known.

"The Artful Escape"

13:45: Anyone who knows "What Remains of Edith Finch" will be delighted. "The Artful Escape" comes from the same company as the recently released adventure hit. The new game also stands out with its unusual graphic style. You play a man travelling through a picturesque world through the power of music. Date: "When it's damn ready" - that's what the teaser says. For PC and Xbox One.

"Black Desert"

13:40: The Korean MMO will also be released for the Xbox One - later probably for the PS4. The game has been available on PC for some time. The approximate date given was early 2018.

"Ashen"

13:35: First presented back in 2015, the action role-playing game "Ashen" has made a new appearance at Microsoft's event. The game is characterised by an unusual graphic style and "Dark Souls"-like gameplay. There is no date yet for the Xbox One-exclusive game.

"The Last Night"

13:25: This beautiful cyberpunk adventure game comes from indie developer oddTales. In a world reminiscent of Blade Runner, the aim is to remain unrecognised. Set to be released in time for the launch of the Xbox One X. Also for PC.

"Dishonored: Death of the Outsider"

13:15: "Death of the Outsider" is the first expansion for "Dishonored 2". It sees the return of the infamous Billie Lurk from Part 1. 15 September for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

"Skyrim" is coming to the Switch with Link

13:10: "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" cannot be killed off. Instead of a new spin-off, developer Bethesda has presented the version for the Nintendo Switch. Thanks to new equipment, your game character even looks like Link from "The Legend of Zelda". The Switch's motion controls are also supported. Coming this autumn.

BJ Blazkowicz shoots his way through "Quake Champions"

13:05: The hero from "Wolfenstein" was introduced as a new character for "Quake Champions". Like "Overwatch", the multiplayer shooter relies on heroes with different abilities. The beta is now available around the clock. If you would like to test the game yourself, register here. The game is due to be released later this year for PC and Xbox One.

"Deep Rock Galactic"

13:00: Often referred to as "Minecraft in space", this game lets you explore caves, mine resources and crush monsters with up to three other players. Now available not only for PC but also for Xbox One. Date: 2018.

"The Darwin Project"

12:40 pm: "The Darwin Project" is an Xbox One-exclusive survival game. In the Rocky Mountains, players go head-to-head with different skills. Axes and bows are the Weapons of Choice. Date: Spring 2018.

"Fallout 4 VR"

12:00 pm: There was also a trailer for "Fallout 4 VR". Announced before E3, it finally gave a brief insight into what the apocalyptic future looks like from a VR perspective. Due to be released in October for the HTC Vive.

"Doom VFR"

11:50 am: New fodder for VR goggle owners. The bloody shooter is being made VR-compatible. You'll be even closer to blasting demons in the head. There is no date yet. Will be released for PS VR and HTC Vive.

"Sea of Thieves"

11:45 am: The co-operative pirate game has received a new detailed gameplay trailer. Amusing ship battles, plank jumping and beer drinking will soon be the order of the day. In early 2018, PC and Xbox One players will be able to weigh anchor.

"Tacoma"

11:40 am: This sci-fi adventure game from the makers of "Gone Home" is coming soon. Far away from Earth, the aim is to uncover the secrets of the Tacoma space station. To be released on 2 August for PC and Xbox One.

"Life is Strange: Before the Storm"

11:25 am: The dramatic teen adventure game is getting a second part. It will tell the prequel story from Chloe's point of view. It is still unclear whether time-travelling abilities similar to those of the first protagonist Max will be used. We will find out on 31 August. Coming to PC and Xbox One.

"The Elder Scrolls Legends: Heroes of Skyrim"

11:20 am: The card game receives its first expansion. It contains 150 new cards and new game mechanics. Will be released on 29 June .

"Ori and the Will of the Wisps"

10:50 a.m. The enchanting platform game enters the next round. Looks like a children's game, but offers tricky enemies and jumping elements. To be released for PC and Xbox One. No release date yet.

"State of Decay 2"

10:40 am: The fight for survival in the zombie apocalypse continues. The trailer shows new special zombies that want to make your life difficult. At its core, however, the game has not changed. Due to be released in spring 2018 for PC and Xbox One.

"The Evil Within 2"

10:15 am: The horror continues. The first instalment didn't skimp on shock effects and blood, and part two will hardly be any different. The "Resident Evil"-like game will be released on 13 October for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

"Playerunknown's Battlegrounds" is coming to the Xbox One

10:00 am: Still in Early Access but already selling millions of copies, the multiplayer shooter is soon to land on Xbox One. Developer Brendan Greene announced the good news at Microsoft's press conference. It should be ready by the end of the year.

"Crackdown 3"

9:40 am: In "Crackdown 3", things are cracking up more beautifully than ever. Actor Ted Crews takes on the role of Commander Jaxon. You hunt down criminals with explosive ballers and superpowers. Thanks to Microsoft's cloud computing power, the destruction should be even more beautiful. Released on 7 November for PC and Xbox One.

"Metro Exodus"

9:30 am: In the third instalment of the post-apocalyptic shooter series, you leave the Moscow metro and face new mutated monsters and dangers on the surface. The game will be released 2018 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

"Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus"

9:10am: Nazi hunter BJ Blazkowic is back. After the surprise success of "Wolfenstein The New Order", the official sequel is now being released. And the first trailer makes it clear that things are set to continue explosively. And this time in the occupied USA. The first-person shooter will be released on 25 October for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

"Assassin's Creed Origins"

9:00am: The rumours have come true: The next "Assassin's Creed" is set in Egypt. There's a new combat and weapon system, otherwise it's back to assassination as ever. More details will most likely follow at Ubisoft's press conference tonight at 22:00. The game will be released on 27 October for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

New Bioware game: "Anthem"

8:45 am: Teased at the EA press conference, Microsoft had the pleasure of extensively showing off Bioware's latest opus. With "Anthem", the role-playing game makers have an extremely promising new game in the making. Science fiction scenario with battle suits and weird aliens. The graphics will make your eyes water. To be released in 2018.

"Forza 7"

8:40 am: What would a new console be without new games, so of course Microsoft has also unveiled tonnes of games. Including the racing game "Forza 7". In crisp 4K and at 60 fps. To be released on 3 October for PC and Xbox One.

Xbox One X

8:30am: EA's press conference was followed by Microsoft's, where the new Xbox One X was unveiled as announced. You can find more information here.
