Nintendo live stream with digitec

15:35: Nintendo Spotlight starts at 18:00. We'll be streaming the press event live from around 5.45pm and adding our two cents. In addition to our eloquent comments, the highlight will probably be the new "Super Mario Odyssey". You'll see whether Nintendo has another ace up its sleeve in a few hours' time.

"GriftLands"

14:55: The studio responsible for the indie hits "Mark of the Ninja" and "Don't Starve" is working on a new project. The first trailer already looks very interesting.

"Total War: Warhammer 2"

14:15: The last instalment is just over a year old, but the next part is already on the way. The fantasy strategy game with its huge battles between elves, lizardmen and whatever else is roaming around will be released on 28 September for PC.

"Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord"

14:05: New gameplay scenes from the medieval battle epic were shown at the PC Gamer Show. Armoured vassals fight each other on foot and on horseback. If you'd like to swap your AK-74 for a halberd, you've come to the right place. There is no specific release date yet. However, it will be released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Update for "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds"

13:55: The nerve-wracking multiplayer shooter gets a new update. Now you can finally jump over walls or dash across car bonnets. You can also escape quickly through windows. There are also new pretty weather effects.

First expansion for "XCOM 2"

13:45: Attention strategists: The addon "War of the Chosen" gives tacticians a new reason to start "XCOM 2" again. There are three new factions and alien opponents. The expansion is said to be twice as extensive as "Enemy Within" for the first part. The game will be released on 29 August for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

"Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite"

13:05: The fighting game is getting new characters from the ranks of the "Guardians of the Galaxy", among others. The brawl starts on 19 September on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

"Tunic"

12:55 pm: This cuddly little game was presented at the PC Gaming Show. In it, you play a fox who explores a mysterious world with a shield and sword. A little reminiscent of "Zelda". Will be released 2018 for PC:

"Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" is coming in November

11:55 am: The Japanese role-playing game, which is being created in collaboration with the animation studio Ghibli, has been given a release date. On 10 November, the second part of the magical adventure continues for PC and PS4 players.

DLC for "Horizon Zero Dawn"

11:50 am: The PS4 hit receives its first expansion. "The Frozen Wilds" sends the heroine Aloy to the snowy territory of the Banuk tribe. A new threat lurks there for the player. Due to be released this year.

"No Heroes Allowed!"

11:45 a.m. More PSVR fodder in the form of this colourful strategy game. From a bird's eye view, you try to take over the world as the God of Destruction. No, your character is not called Brain.

"Hidden Agenda"

11:40 am: Another PlayLink title for the PS4 is "Hidden Agenda". In the narrative adventure game, up to four players can influence the story together. Date: Coming soon.

"That's You!"

11:30 am: Playstation Plus users get a new party game for free with "That's You!". Normal users can simply buy the game from 4 July. It is one of several PlayLink titles that are played with your own smartphone, so every player should theoretically have a controller.

"Everybody's Golf"

11:25 am: If you fancy swinging a club again, then "Everybody's Golf" could be something for you. From 29 August you can hole out on the PS4.

"Moss"

11:20 a.m. "Moss", a "Zelda"-like adventure game for PSVR, will be released at the end of the year.

"Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV"

10:55 am: Because fishing in "Final Fantasy XV" was so much fun, there is now a separate game - in VR, of course. Get your fishing licence ready, from 17 August you can cast your rod with the PSVR.

"The Inpatient"

10:50 a.m. Another VR game in which you search for your own identity in a dimly lit insane asylum. The PSVR horror game does not yet have a release date.

"Bravo Team"

10:45 am: A whole host of new VR titles were also unveiled at Sony's press conference. For example, "Bravo Team". A classic VR baller game set in a fictional Eastern European city. The Aim controller is supported. Will be released for the PSVR. No date has been given.

"Age of Empires" returns

10:35 am: Unfortunately only in a new edition. The 20-year-old cult strategy game is getting a facelift. The Definitive Edition not only brings 4K resolution but also improves the gameplay and expands the picture detail. I'm still waiting for part 4 though.

"Gran Turismo Sport"

10:30 a.m. This autumn you can put the pedal to the metal again on the PS4. That's when the new "Gran Turismo Sport" will be released.

"Strange Brigade"

10:25 a.m. The makers of "Sniper Elite" have a new game in the making. "Strange Brigade" is a co-operative action game. The four characters have different abilities to help you explore the furthest corners of the British Empire of the 1930s. Coming to PS4 and PC and has no date yet.

"Knack 2"

10:20 am: Very few people expected the PS4 launch title "Knack" to get a sequel. It wasn't bad, just pretty average. Despite everything, from 5 September you will once again be able to destroy enemies as a changeable rock creature. Sometimes as a small Knack, sometimes as a giant Knack.

"Matterfall"

10:15 a.m. The makers of "Resogun" present the next colourful action game. In the sidescroller "Matterfall", you shoot everything in your path with a huge arsenal of weapons, just like in "Metroid" or "Contra". And it will be available from 15 August on PS4.

"Extinction"

10:05 a.m. The first trailer for "Extinction" is somewhat reminiscent of "God of War". In it, one of the last guardians of the world fights with giant ogres. Looks like fun. To be released in the first quarter of 2018 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

"Destiny 2" coming in autumn for PC

10:00 am: A fresh trailer heats up the anticipation for "Destiny" fans. It was also announced when exactly the PC version will be released. While console gamers can get started as early as 6 September, PC players can start shooting from 24 October. There will be beta tests for PS4 and Xbox One players as early as July. The beta test will start on PC in August.

"Spider-Man"

9:50 am: A detailed gameplay demo of the new "Spider-Man" game was shown. And what we saw looks really impressive. Spidey jumps and flies through the air at a monkey's pace and knocks down enemies with acrobatic jumps. 2018 you too can throw yourself into the spider outfit. Exclusively for PS4.

"Detroit: Become Human"

9:18 am: The science fiction scenario about human androids sounds even more exciting than before after the latest trailer. There are numerous decisions to be made that can have far-reaching consequences. Expected to be released later this year for PS4.

"God of War"

9:15 am: Kratos is angry again and fights with his son with all kinds of fantastic creatures. The title is coming in early 2018 for the PS4.

"Uncharted: The Lost Legacy"

9:10 am: "The Lost Legacy" tells a new story and follows the two previous supporting characters Chloe and Nadine. The game is an expansion of part four, but works without the main game. Released on 22 August for PS4.

"Shadow of the Colossus" is coming to the PS4

9:07 am: The cult game for the PS2 is being remastered for the second time. The title is now also available on the PS4 and looks even better than the remastered version for the PS3. It is due to be released in 2018.

"Days Gone"

9:05 am: "The Last of Us 2" was unfortunately absent, but there was new material for another zombie survival game. In "Days Gone", however, the undead are not the only dangers lurking for you. Released on 29 December for PS4.

"Call of Duty: WWII"

9:00 am: The multiplayer of the next "Call of Duty" was revealed for the first time at Sony's press event. It gets pretty bloody. From 3 November, PC, PS4 and Xbox One gamers will be able to form their own opinions.

"Monster Hunter: World" for PS4 and Co.

8:55 am: The next "Monster Hunter" is released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The epic monster hunts are entering new hunting grounds. You can lie in wait with up to three mates in spring 2018.

"Starlink: Battle for Atlas" mounts spaceships on your controller

8:50 am: "Starlink: Battle for Atlas" wants to bring toys back to life. The space action game focuses on collectible spaceships. These toy models are somehow mounted on your game controllers. Sounds and looks weird, but I'm excited. Autumn 2018 should be the time.

"Steep" receives Olympic expansion

8:45 am: The extreme sports game shifts down a gear and receives a whole host of new competitive disciplines. The expansion should be ready in time for the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.

"The Crew 2"

8:40 am: The open-world racing game is getting a sequel and new vehicles. In addition to sleek cars, you can also control racing boats and aeroplanes in the new instalment. The multiplayer game is planned for early 2018 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

"South Park: The Fractured But Whole"

8:35 a.m. Eric and his wild gang throw themselves into superhero outfits and take on all kinds of strange characters. Of course, faecal humour is also a must. After several postponements, the RPG will be released on 17 October for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

"Transference" with Elijah Wood

8:30 am: Frodo has presented a really weird game. I mean Elijah Wood, of course. And it's a VR game. I won't even try to describe it. Just watch the trailer. Due to be released in spring 2018 for PSVR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

"Far Cry 5"

8:25 am: There were also more detailed gameplay scenes for the upcoming "Far Cry 5". In it, you take on a group of fanatics. You even have a loyal dog at your side, who not only attacks enemies, but also brings you weapons. Quite bloody this part. 27 February 2018 is the date for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

"Beyond Good and Evil 2" is finally a reality

8:20 am: One of the most eagerly awaited games has finally been revealed. After almost 15 years, Beyond Good and Evil 2 will soon be released. The crazy sci-fi scenario with flying space monkeys and corrupt pigs could be extremely exciting. There is no release date yet.

"Skull and Bones"

8:10 am: Take "Assassin's Creed Black Flag" and remove "Assassin's Creed" and you have "Skull and Bones". At least that's what the first demo of the piratesque game looked like. On the high seas, you fight spectacular battles with other ships until the shreds fly. Pure multiplayer game by the looks of it. To be released 2018 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

I don't want to withhold the gameplay trailer from you either.

30 minutes with "Assassin's Creed Origins"

8:05 a.m. "Assassin's Creed" is back and borrows heavily from other Ubisoft titles. You can spy on enemies from the air with a falcon. There are also more role-playing game influences. Certainly a feast for history fans.

Ubisoft puts a gun in Mario's hand

8:00 am: We start today with Super Mario. He's entering into an unusual collaboration. Shigeru Miyamoto himself appeared at Ubisoft's press event and presented the upcoming "Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle". It is an unexpected mix of "Xcom", "Super Mario" and the crazy "Rabbids". Released on 29 August for the Nintendo Switch.
