Galaxus Agency is expanding in Germany
Galaxus stands for humorous, authentic advertising and efficient performance marketing. However, the online retailer doesn’t just shine in internal campaigns. External advertising partners can also benefit from its expertise in the e-commerce market, in retail media and marketing. The in-house agency is now expanding for the German market.
The Digitec Galaxus Agency has been running in Switzerland since 2019. Nina Hoss and her team of three offer advertising partners their retail media expertise and the opportunity to make the most of the performance potential on the Galaxus platform. Each campaign is planned individually for partners.
Galaxus Agency has also been implementing campaigns in Germany since 2022. Nina wants to double the annual turnover as early as this year: «In the future, we’d like to focus more on the German market because we see great potential there. Not only because of its size, but also because we see an opportunity in attracting new brands as clients.»
Pretty much everything, for pretty much every partner
Due to high demand, the Agency was founded to provide a stand-alone marketing service for external advertisers and partners. «We invest a lot of time and resources in our independent Editorial Team and we don’t sell sponsored products or content,» Nina explains. «To keep it that way, we had to find a new way to implement collaborative campaigns with our partners.»
The focus is on added value for the end customer. Since Galaxus manages all marketing in-house, including conception, media planning and management, graphics and content creation –and doesn’t outsource it to agencies – the e-commerce retailer has more than 100 specialists in various marketing disciplines. Digitec Galaxus’ marketing has already received numerous awards in Switzerland for its creativity.
Services in Germany
Starting with a campaign for Apple, Galaxus Agency has since implemented numerous projects for HP, Logitech, JBL and Samsung in the German market across a wide range of channels. Its services mainly include online campaigns on discount promotions and product launches. In Switzerland, there’s a greater focus on putting flyers into Galaxus parcels. As the number of parcels ordered in Germany increases, it’s also becoming more attractive to expand this service here. Subsequently, this exciting target group of online shoppers will be more accessible to brands from various industries.
