The advance notice of an announcement
This is not a rant. This is the pre-announcement of a rant about pre-announcements. The real rant will be so blatant that I could reveal new details about it every day.
Manufacturer X is on to something. Something incredibly interesting. It's going to be great. I know that from a reliable insider source. But I can't give too much away yet. Before manufacturer X gave me even the slightest hint of information, I had to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement).
However, the manufacturer has allowed me to report that there will soon be something to tell. Because the manufacturer wants to stay in dialogue - even if there is nothing to report. He imagines it like an advent calendar in the middle of summer. A new door opens every day. Every day, a new article with zero information appears.
I even think the manufacturer would be disappointed if I didn't report on them and their great previews every day.
So: On 17 September 2020, manufacturer X will unveil more details about its revolutionary new release at a digital launch event. Stay tuned.
Between you and me: On the rumour site xRumors.com you can already find all the information, which will be kept under the strictest secrecy until 17 September. But you didn't get that from me!
I can do that too
I'm also working on something myself. Something really big. It will be the game-changer of the 21st century, it will usher in the Great Transformation and the Golden Age, it will be the most disruptive, singular Unicorn article, a report of such explosiveness and virtuosity that it will make all Pulitzer Prize winners look like first-graders with learning difficulties.
It will be a game-changer.
It becomes a rant about pre-announcements.
Over the course of the next month, year or decade, I'll reveal more details about my sensational new release. But you can basically read the Rant now, or rather, you just did.
