The CPUs, GPUs and APUs should be available in the next few months. The same applies to the newly introduced notebooks from business to gaming.
Acer wants to sell its new Swift X starting in April. The new Intel ARC A370M is installed in the 16-inch variant of the high-end everyday notebook. However, Intel was sparing with information about the mobile graphics card at the CES keynote.
Acer completely relies on the new components for updating its gaming notebooks. Thus, the Predator Triton SE will have an Intel Core i9 processor of the 12th generation and Nvidia's Geforce RTX 3080 Ti from the end of February. The Predator Helios 300 is expected to feature a 12th generation Intel Core i7 and the RTX 3080 Ti or 3070 Ti starting in March.
Acer lets you choose between a 12th generation Intel Core i7 or an AMD Ryzen 6000 in the less expensive Nitro 5 gaming notebook. Both are supposed to work with the also new Geforce RTX 3070 Ti from March or April.
Alienware, Dell's gaming brand, is relaunching its X and M series. The Alienware x14, x15 R2 notebooks can be equipped with up to an Intel Core i7-12900H and a Geforce RTX 3080 Ti - for the x17, the choice extends to a Core i9-12900HK. You can choose between Intel or AMD processors for the Alienware m15 R7. The Alienware m17 R5, on the other hand, is only available with AMD chips up to the Ryzen 9 6980HX and the Radeon RX 6850M XT or an RTX 3080 Ti.
The models with Intel CPUs should still be available in winter. You'll have to wait until spring for those with CPUs from AMD.
With the ROG Flow Z13, Asus has more or less a gaming Surface on offer. The keyboard can be removed. The tablet case accommodates the Intel Core i9-12900H and an RTX 3050 Ti. There are two options for the display: 4K and 60 hertz or Full HD and 120 hertz. If the built-in graphics card doesn't have enough power, you can add a GPU from Asus in an external case with a Radeon RX 6850M XT or a Geforce RTX 3080 and connect it.
The ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 has two displays. The secondary screen slides between the keyboard and main screen when opened. Asus installs the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX and the Geforce RTX 3080 Ti.
The Ryzen 9 6900HS and the Radeon RX 6800S are used in the ROG Zephyrus. The ROG Strix Scar, on the other hand, features the Intel Core i9-12900H and the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. For the ROG Strix G15 and G17, Asus again combines the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX with the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti.
Asus plans to launch all new gaming notebooks in the first quarter of 2022.
However, you will have to wait until the second quarter for a classic notebook and a Chromebook with Intel Core processors of the 12th generation from Asus. The Chromebook Flip CX5 and the Zenbook 14 OLED are supposed to be available then. The latter will also be released in a Space Edition, which borrows numerous design cues from space travel and features a 3.5-inch OLED display on the outer lid.
"Less is more" is Dell's motto for the XPS 13 Plus. According to the manufacturer, it has dispensed with everything unnecessary in the laptop's design. Core processors from Intel's latest 12th generation are used inside. Dell wants to launch the high-end notebook in spring.
HP has mainly novelties from the business sector and presented the Elite Dragonfly Chromebook, a notebook with Chrome OS and Intel's 12th generation Core processors. The HP Elite Dragonfly G3 with Windows also benefits from Intel's latest processor generation - just like the HP Elitebook 1040 G9, the HP Elite x360 1040 G9 and Elite x360 830 G9.
Brand new processors are also available for the Elitebook 805 G9, which comes in three different sizes. Regardless of the size, they will be equipped with Ryzen Pro chips from the new 6000 series.
However, HP has not yet revealed which processors are available in detail. Likewise, there are only details about the availability in the US so far. However, they suggest that the new products will also be available in our country over the next few months.
Lenovo relies on an exclusive cooperation with AMD for its new Thinkpads Z13 and Z16. No other manufacturer gets the installed processors from the new 6000 series. When I was but a young student, I'd sit in my friend's living room with all my classmates and play on his SuperNES. Since then I've had the opportunity to test out all the newest technology for you. I've done reviews at Curved, Computer Bild and Netzwelt, and have now arrived at Galaxus.de.
